Especially in this age of Social Networking, if you’re using the Internet very much at all, it means logging in and out of forums, membership sites, networking platforms like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, banking institutions, bill pay services… the list goes on and on.
For some people, using the same password for all their accounts is the answer. That would make your life easier, BUT…
If you ever got hacked, the thief would also have easy access to all your accounts. Not so fun.
